A supercar from Kaunas, introduced to the world
The challenge
The people Rhino Automotive needs to convince are collectors, builders and racing enthusiasts, mostly outside Lithuania. When they evaluate a car, they compare it against brands with decades of racing history, and their first instinct toward an unknown badge is doubt: who are these people, is the engineering real, what happens to my money if the company disappears.
Rhino builds the RR01 in Kaunas: a mid-engine V8, 480+ horsepower, 1250 kg, road-legal in select markets. The engineering existed and could be verified. The problem was the gap between what the company could prove and what a sceptical stranger could see. A young supercar brand doesn’t get the benefit of the doubt, so the brand and the website had to close that gap with evidence rather than claims.

The approach
The main decision was to treat scepticism as the brief. A typical car brand sells emotion first: hero shots, adjectives, a soundtrack. For an unknown manufacturer that approach works against you, because the audience has no reason to believe any of it. So we inverted it. The website leads with what can be checked: full specifications, engineering documentation, the assembly logic of the car, and the first version of the RR01 configurator. If a visitor wants to doubt the RR01, the site gives them the material to test that doubt against.
The identity follows the same reasoning. Rhino’s engineering principle is that nothing on the car is decorative, so a decorative brand would contradict the product. Every element had to have a stated function. That constraint also made the identity easier for a two-person company to apply consistently without a designer on staff.
Social media was a third decision. A company building its first car has one asset no established competitor can copy: the process itself. We built the content strategy around documenting development as it happened, ran the channels for the first six months to establish the system, then handed it over to the team.

Nothing decorative. Nothing to hide.
The identity follows the same principle as the car: every element has a stated function. A brand built that way holds up under the scrutiny its audience brings — and a two-person team can apply it consistently without a designer on staff.

The outcome
A stranger who finds Rhino today can go from never having heard of it to reading the full technical documentation without leaving the site, which is the exact journey the company depends on. The RR01 is shown at international events, and the team runs its own communication on the system we set up.
